Mr. Glenn Edward Bowers, 56, of Hartwell, passed away Monday, December 13, 2021 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born on March 5, 1965 in Anchorage AK, he was the son of Nora Christine Maddox Bowers and the late Farris Edward Bowers. He was a maintenance tech with GE Turbine in Greenville SC. He also was a musician, played the guitar and was a vocalist. Mr. Bowers was a US Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his mother:Nora C. Maddox Bowers of Hartwell; two sons: Ryan Carter of Anderson SC, Donald Bowers of Hartwell; two daughters: Faith Bowers of Charleston SC, Harley Charles (Katie) of Ware Shoals SC; life partner: Brenda Bowers of the home; three brothers: Dwain Bowers (Karen) of Hartwell, Stephen Bowers (Wanda) of Anderson SC, Nathan Bowers (Donna) of Greenville SC and four grandchildren. Mr. Bowers was preceded in death by his father: Farris Bowers and a niece: Carolyn McClain Bowers.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Mr. Glenn Bowers will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland funeral Home of Hartwell with Mrs. Barbara Garrett officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
