Obituary
Mrs. Gloria Ann (Sandberg) Cavender, age 82, formerly of Decatur, died Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Lifecare Center of Gwinnett.
Born August 16, 1928, in Lithonia, she was the daughter of the late Felix Knute Sandberg and Helen (Haygood) Sandberg. She was a retired secretary with McCurdy, Candler, & Harris Law Firm. She was of the Methodist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lillard Milton "L.M." Cavender; and a brother: James Kenneth Sandberg.
She is survived by her son: David Cavender; daughter: Dawn Owens; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the Cavender Family Cemetery in Carnesville. In lieu of flowers, flower bulbs may be sent to the family c/o David Cavender, 3017 Highway 145, Carnesville, GA 30521.
