Mrs. Gloria Kathryn Fulbright Gomez, age 73, of Lavonia, died Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at her home.
Born June 27, 1938, in Lavonia, she was the daughter of the late Wiley Hoke Fulbright and Eva Wooten Fulbright. She was a homemaker and she was of the Church of God faith.
She is survived by her husband: Domingo Gomez of the home; daughters and sons-in-law: Holly Marlow Myers & Lamar Myers of Lavonia and Lori Powers Bleech & Thomas Bleech of Canon; grandchildren: Kyle Myers and Kelly Myers of Lavonia and Lindsey Kathryn Bleech of Canon; brother: Glenn Fulbright of Bowman; and nephew: Eddie Fulbright of Lavonia.
Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2011 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Davison officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m.
