Mrs. Gloria Annette Baker McNeal, 80, of Dewy Rose, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025 at her home.

Born on October 19, 1944, in Atlanta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Louis Baker and Marion Wallace Baker.  Mrs. McNeal was a retired bus driver for the Hart County Charter System.

Survivors include husband: Harold W. McNeal of Dewy Rose; two daughters: Malinda Raese (Fred) of Hartwell, and Marion Sexton (Sandy) of Danielsville; eight grandchildren: Jenifer McLendon (Matt), Gillian Raese, Andrew Bookwalter (Sheena), Katie Watson (Eric), Logan Bookwalter (Hope), Madeline Hill, Kristen Sexton, and Albany Sexton; and sixteen great-grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. McNeal was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother: David Baker.

The family will receive friends Monday, August 11, 2025 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.  Other times the family will be at the home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gloria McNeal will be Monday, August 11, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Revs. Troy Ayers and Don Hazelgrove officiating.  Burial will be in the Bio Baptist Church Cemetery.
