Ms. Gloria Ann Evans Shelnut, 65, of Hartwell, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson SC.

Born on June 8, 1957 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late Amos Evans and Mary Annie Whitfield Evans. Gloria was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter: Chastity Evans Boles (Eddie) of Canon; one brother: James Earl Evans of Hartwell; one grandson: Ryan Boles (Niki) and two great grandchildren: Tori Boles and Macie Boles. Ms. Shelnut was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister: Nancy Rushing.

A memorial service celebrating Ms. Gloria Shelnut's life will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Randall Starrett officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1364 Royston Hwy, Hartwell, GA 30643.
