Mrs. Willie Grace Moon Baker, 93, of Anderson Hwy, Hartwell, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at Brown Health & Rehab, Royston.

Born on September 26, 1923 in Royston GA, she was the daughter of the late James Moon and Lila Cape Moon.She was homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her daughter: Ann Baker of Hartwell; a sister: Myrtie Jean Blanton of Anderson SC; four grandchildren: Amanda Jackson, Krystal Rowland, April Walters and Jason Segars; eleven great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren also survive.Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: George Lee Baker; her son: Tony Baker; four brothers: Quenton Moon, J.D. Moon, W.C. Moon and James Otis Moon and three sisters: Dessie Mae Moon, Annie Ruth Vickery and Claire Sue Moon.

Funeral services will be Sunday, January 22, 2017, at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Mr. Fred Greenway officiating.Entombment will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday prior to the service.The family is at their respective homes.
