Ms. Mary Grace Jones Vaughn, 68, of Jones Road, Hartwell, died Saturday, May 23, 2015 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.

Born on December 9, 1946 in Elberton, GA, she was the daughter of the late Hollis Cleo Jones and Mattie Nell Evans Jones.Mrs. Vaughn was a supervisor at the Hartwell Company for twenty- one years. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include three sons: Pat Patterson and his wife Donna, Steve Vaughn and his wife Teresa, Johnny Vaughn and his wife Kathi all of Hartwell; one daughter: Pam Pilgrim of Hartwell; three brothers: T. J. Jones of Antrville, SC,Roy Jones of Hartwell, Bill Jones of North Carolina; three sisters: Sara Jennings, Ruby Donald, Susie Vanfossen, all of Hartwell; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren also survive. Ms. Vaughnwas preceded in death by her parents; one son-in-law: William Pilgrim; four brothers: Robert Jones, Frank Jones, Talmadge Jones, John Henry Jones and one sister: Martha Jones.

Memorial services will be Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Ken Brewer officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 Tuesday prior to the service. The family is at the home.Flowers are optional, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
