Mr. Gregory Alan Carroll, 58, of Hartwell, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Hartwell Health & Rehab.

Born on January 14, 1958 in Winston Salem North Carolina, he was the son of Dewey Cicero Carroll and Mary Snider Carroll.Gregory graduated with a Bachelor's degree from University of Georgia and was a member of Briarlake Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia.

Survivors include his parents: Dewey and Mary Carroll of Royston; his brother: Michael and his wife Terri of Hartwell; two nephews: Andrew and Alan Carroll; two nieces: Ansley and Alyson Carroll and several Aunts and Uncles.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Burial will be in Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning prior to the service.The family is at the home of Michael and Terri Carroll, 841 Elrod Ferry Road, Hartwell.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Briarlake Baptist Church, 3715 LaVista Road, Decatur, Georgia 30033.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
