Obituary
Gregory Scott Patton, 48, of Lavonia passed away Monday, May 8, 2017 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born June 3, 1968, in Commerce, he was the son of Billy and Beverly Jean Patton. He was a veteran of the US Army and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife Tina (Boyer) Patton; step-daughter and son-in-law: Christina and Daniel Bryant; granddaughter: Ember Bryant; and cousins: Blanche Crump and Ruby Jo Woody.
He will be cremated in accordance with his request. No memorial service will be planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Greg's memory, to the Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org).
