Mr. Guy Boyd Anderson, age 75, of 63 Indian Ridge Rd, Hartwell, GA, died Friday, August 22, 2008 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson SC, 29621.

Born on June 20, 1933 in Madison Co. NC, he was the son of the late Fred A. Anderson and Bertie (Jarvis) Anderson.He was a HS graduate, former supervisor for LTV Steel Corp. and former owner of G & B Trucking.He was a member of the Hartwell Christian Assembly Church and a US Army veteran, serving in the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife: Betty J. (Parker) Anderson of the home; six sons: Larry G. Anderson, Alan D. Anderson and wife Lori both of DeMotte IN, Daniel R. Anderson and wife Wanda of Wheatfield IN, Michael D. Anderson and wife Maria, Matthew C. Anderson and wife Kimberly both of Lake Village IN and Phillip J. Anderson and wife Jeanie of Rensselaer IN; thirteen grandchildren: Brian, Christopher, Bradley, Wendy, Nichols, Nicole, Lizabeth, Nadieshea, Michael, Brian, Katlyn, Derrick and Heather; three great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2008 in Lake Village, Indiana with burial to be in the Lake Village Cemetery.
