Obituary

Harold Crocker, 81, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, August 8, 2021.

Harold was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Married to Terry Ann Bailey for 51 years. He was a 1957 graduate of Hart County High School and Anderson College. He was retired from BASF (30+ years). He was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church and the Victory Sunday school class. He was a Gideon to the West camp.

For many years, he was an avid basketball player, bowler, horse-shoe pitcher, fisherman, and deer hunter. He loved his woodshop making plaques to give out to people, but his greatest hobby of all was serving the Lord and sharing His word.

Survived by wife, Terry. Sister, Janelle Fleming, brother Buddy Crocker, many special nieces and nephews. Son, Keith (Cindy) Crocker, grandsons, Bryan (Kelly), Brent (Sara), great-grands, Kaitlyn, Hayden, Ava, and Eden. Daughter, Betsy (George) Herring, grandson Matt (Julia), great-grands, Ezra, Ira-Lucas, and Emmeline. Daughter, Julie (James) Herman, grandchildren, Jameson, Julian, Jaden, Jacie, and J.J. Daughter, Tessa (Randy) Wood, grandchildren, Stephanie (Tyler), Jared, Bryanna, great-grands Emersyn, Brooklynn, and Leeland.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Archie and Effie Crocker. Sisters Ruby, Eva, and Polly. Brothers, Ralph, J.C., Harvey, Marvin, Duby (Benny). Daughter, Tonya Marie.

The family will receive friends and family from 2 until 3:45 p.m. Saturday at Sullivan-King Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel conducted by Pastor Michael Jones, Brother Gary Bill and former R.A. Roy Crocker (nephew). Entombment will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Memorials may be made to Oakwood Baptist Church Missions or to the Gideons.

The Sullivan King Mortuary of Anderson is in charge of all arrangements.
