Mr. Harold M. Bailey, 91, of Mt. Olivet Road, Hartwell, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Hartwell Health & Rehab.

Born on September 16, 1927 in Hartwell GA, he was the son of the late Claude H. Bailey and Lola Motes Bailey.Mr. Bailey was retired from the Hartwell Coca Cola Bottling Company, where he was a route salesman.He also was a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, McDoyle SS Class, Forever Young, former Deacon and Usher, former RA leader, cook for the Brotherhood Men's group and church bus driver.Mr. Bailey was a U. S. Army WW II veteran.

Survivors include his wife: Lettie Mae Rousey Vickery Bailey; three step-daughters: Martha Bryan of Roswell GA, Helen Mize of Dewy Rose GA and Bonnie Wilson of Liberty SC; a brother: Herman Bailey of Hartwell GA; five step grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren also survive.Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by his first wife: Wilene Brown Bailey; a son: Tony Bailey and two sisters: Etta Mae Bailey and Opal Elrod.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 3, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Webb and Mr. Fred Greenway officiating.Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 2973 Mt. Olivet Road, Hartwell GA 30643.
