Mr. Harold O'Barr, 80, of Reed Creek Hwy., Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Hartwell Health & Rehab.

Born on February 10, 1935 in Hartwell GA, he was the son of the late Vivian Lee O'Barr and Willie Mae Welborn O'Barr.Mr. O'Barr was a retired Route Man and Service Technician for the Hartwell Coca Cola Bottling Company.He also was a member of the Nancy Hart Masonic Lodge #690 and the Reed Creek Baptist Church.Mr. O'Barr was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife: Annette Brown O'Barr; two sons: Craig O'Barr and his wife Terri of Canon, Chris O'Barr and his companion Charlene Craft of Hartwell; five grandchildren: Ryan O'Barr and his wife Jessica, Max White and his wife Jessica, Brittney Brown and her husband Michael, Mick White and Tiffaney Yeomans; four great-grandchildren: Weston O'Barr, Kyler Brown, Macon White and McKinley White; a brother: Gerald O'Barr of Maryland also survives.Mr. O'Barr was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Artis Lee O'Barr and John C. "Onnie" O'Barr.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 12, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Jim Carey and Mr. Fred Greenway officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening.The family is at the home of Craig & Terri O'Barr, 1217 Deer Run Lane, Canon.
