Mr. Harold Judson Warren, 92, of 155 Bio Church Rd., Nuberg Comm., Dewy Rose, died Thursday, January 1 at Hart County Hospital.

Born on January 28, 1916 in Hart County GA, he was the son of the late Rupart White Warren and Luna Ray Warren.He was a graduate of Nuberg School, Nancy Hart School, Hartwell High School and the University Of Georgia Law School.He was a member of the Sigma Delta Kappa Legal Fraternity.Mr. Warren was a WW II Army veteran, serving in the U.S. Army Office of Counterintelligence Corps.Mr. Warren retired from the U.S. Government serving as a lawyer with the U.S. Senate and U. S. House of Representatives.He was a member of the Bio Baptist Church.Mr. Warren's love for his community, children and education led him to sponsor the Warren Scholarship Program at Hart County High School.

Mr. Warren was the last surviving member of his immediate family.He is survived by two 1st cousins, Mildred Ray and James Warren and many 2nd and 3rd cousins.He also had many special friends, The Jean Vandiver family, The Dennis Cobb family, The Wade Gaines family, The people of the Nuberg Community and the McDonald's of Hartwell Coffee Club.Mr. Warren was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Elizabeth Warren.

Mr. Warren wished to be cremated and a gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, January 4 between the hours of 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel.

A service of remembrance will be held on Mr. Warren's 93rd birthday, Wednesday, January 28 at 4:30 p.m. at the Warren Family Home, 155 Bio Church Rd., Nuberg Community.Mr. Warren requested no flowers; memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House, 795 Gatewood Rd. NE, Atlanta GA 30329 or to the Charity of One's Choice.
