Ms. Harriet Lenora Smith, 55, of 162 River Oaks Drive, Hartwell, died Saturday, June 22 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson SC.

Born on December 27, 1957 in Anderson SC, she was the daughter of Sara Godfrey Smith and the late Harry Edwin Smith.She was a Certified Surgical Technician at AnMed Health Medical Center and a member of the Association of Surgical Technologist.

Survivors include her mother, Sara G. Smith of Hartwell; three sisters, Sammy Craft of Martin GA, Sarah Snow of Hartwell and Susan Burdette of Pendergrass GA; four brothers, Lewis Smith of Anderson, Ed Smith of Hartwell, David Smith of Bowersville and Ricky Smith of Hartwell; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 24 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Lonnie Bennett officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Monday afternoon.The family is at their respective homes.Flowers optional, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson SC 29621.
