Mr. Harry Lynn Williford, 78, of Fairview Ave, Hartwell, passed away Monday, December 28, 2015 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital, Lavonia.
Born on January 27, 1937 in Hartwell GA, he was the son of the late Edward L. Williford and Lena Ruth Brown Williford.Mr. Williford was a member of the Sardis Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons: Howard F. Welborn, Charles D. Welborn and Christine all of Hartwell; Ronnie Welborn of Bowman and Larry Welborn of Toccoa; a daughter: Margaret Turpin and Lee of Statham GA; a son-in-law: Keith Osborne of Hartwell; a brother: Ray Williford and Joan of Royston; thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren also survive.Mr. Williford was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Sarah Haygood Welborn Williford and a brother: Garry Williford.
A memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.
The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
