Mrs. Hazel Ann Lunsford Brown, 66, of 2855 Whippoorwill Trail, Hartwell, died Saturday, January 19, 2013 at her home.

Born on November 5, 1946 in Anderson SC, she was the daughter of the late Henry Haley Lunsford and Alice O'Dell Charping Lunsford.She was formerly employed by the Hartwell Company and Calvin Klein of Abbeville as a seamstress and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two sisters: Wilene Mae L. Dutton of Hartwell and Judy Belle L. Williams of Abbeville; a brother: Donnie Ray Lunsford of Anderson and several nieces and nephews also survive.Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents and a sister: Bobbie Joe L. Dutton.

Memorial services will be Monday, January 21 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Dan Williams officiating.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service.The family is at the home of Joyce and Audie Laviolette, 2859 Whippoorwill Trail, Hartwell.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hart County Animal Society, PO Box 1062, Hartwell, GA30643.
