Obituary

Mrs. Amelia Hazel Macijewski Bradley Echols, 87, of Blackmon Road, Canon, passed away Monday, September 23, 2019 at Pruitt Health of Toccoa.

Born on May 3, 1932 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late William (Willie) Macijewski and Laura Mae Busby Macijewski.Mrs. Echols was a former nursing aide for Hart Care Center and Brown Memorial Convalescent Center. She was a member of the Sharon Presbyterian Church and she also attended Macedonia United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three sons: George W. Bradley of Gainesville, Morris Bradley of Lincolnton, GA, James Bradley of Atlanta; one sister: Minnie Lois Steele of Hickory NC; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.Mrs. Echols was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband: George T. Bradley; and her second husband: Charles Echols.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home.Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Echols will be held Sunday, September 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Stephen Wood officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
