Mrs. Helen Virginia Wells Leonard, 94, of Azalea Drive, Hartwell, died Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Hartwell Health and Rehab.
Born on May 13, 1920 in Bristol, TN she was the daughter of the late William Freeland Wells and Vertie Ellen Rogers Wells.She was a home maker and a member of the Virginia Avenue Baptist Church in Bristol, TN.
Survivors include one daughter: Donna Herron and John of Hartwell; two grandchildren: Chad Herron and Lauren, Krista Herron and Ann Herron all of Atlanta; two great-grandchildren: Maddy Herron and Taylor Herron; one brother Harold Eugene Wells and Shirley of Bristol, VA.Mrs. Leonard was preceded in death by her husband: Henry Douglas Leonard; one sister: Hazel Dean Ragan; and two brothers: William Hartsell Wells and Rheaburn Wells.
Memorial services will Friday, April 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Glenwood Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel in Bristol, TN.
Memorials may be made to the Virginia Avenue Baptist Church Mission Fund, 1401 Virginia Ave., Bristol, TN 37620.
