Obituary
Mrs. Helen Campbell Wilson, 89, of Greenville formerly of Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Greenville Place, Greenville, SC.
Born on February 28, 1929 in Toccoa GA, she was the daughter of the late Allen Lee Campbell, Sr. and Earle Childs Campbell.Mrs. Wilson was a retired registered nurse and a member of the Fairview Baptist Church Greer, SC.
Survivors include two sons: David L. Wilson (Alene) of Greenville, SC; Dennis A. Wilson (Tammy) of Naples, FL; one sister: Rosa Stamey of Anderson, SC; six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband: Rev. Earl L. Wilson; one brother: Allen Campbell, Jr.; five sisters: Leona Patat, Frances Adams, Margaret Darling, Gladys Allen and Nellie Shiflet.
Graveside services will be held Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Anderson, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Baptist Church, 1300 Locust Hill Road, Greer, SC 29631 or Heartland Hospice, 421 S.E. Main Street, Suite 100, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
