Mr. Henry Benson Allen, 63, of Hartwell, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia.

Born on March 2, 1960 in Royston, GA, he was the son of the late Francis Benson "Ben" Allen and Mary Sue Williford Allen.  Mr. Allen was a weaver for Fenner Dunlop, and a member of the Oak Bower Baptist Church. Henry loved his kids, grandkids, and all of his family.

Survivors include his son: Branson Allen (Heather) of Danielsville, GA; daughter: Malarie Foust of Clinton, TN; brother: Billy Allen (Betty) of Hartwell; sister: Sheila Fineza (Doug) of Hartwell; three grandchildren: Weatherly Allen, Jacob Foust, Katelyn Foust; and two nieces: Heather Shields (Chris) and Hannah Whitworth (Garrett).

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at the home.

Funeral services for Mr. Henry Allen will be held Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Tommy Cleveland officiating.  Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
