Mr. Henry L. Ginn, 74, of Montevideo Road, Elberton, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at his home.

Born on May 4, 1942 in Royston, GA, he was the son of the late Henry Belvin Ginn and Martha Lee Jordan Ginn.Mr. Ginn was a retired furnace controller from Owens Corning Fiberglass Mfg. with over thirty years of service and a member of the Rock Branch Baptist Church where he was a member of the Ruth Sayer Sunday School Class.He also was a Local #15 GMP member.

Survivors include one son: John (Kay) Ginn of Starr, SC; two daughters: Christine (David) Sayer, Susan (Jose) Lopez both of Elberton; seven grandchildren: Tiffany and Jada Ginn, Jena and Nathan Sayer, Fernando Santely-Lopez, Lindsey and Logan Lopez; one great-grandchild: Adreanna Toney; two brothers: Albert L. Ginn of Hartwell, Robert A. Ginn of Anderson, SC; two sisters: Alice G Byrum and Darthy G. Morris both of Hartwell. Mr. Ginn was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife: Martha Craft Ginn.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 22, 2016 11:00 am at the Rock Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Wright officiating.Burial will be in the Rock Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.The body will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening.The family is at the home.Flowers are optional, memorials may be made to the Rock Branch Baptist Church Music Fund, 2150 Coldwater Road, Elberton, GA 30635.
