Mr. Herman Otto Lee Jr., 71, of Airline-Goldmine Road, Canon, passed away Monday, June 10, 2024 at his home.

Born on April 8, 1953 in Royston GA, he was the son of Timmie Harris Hackett and the late Herman Lee Sr.  Mr. Lee formerly worked at NVF and was known as the "Tireman", selling used tires.  He was also of the Holiness faith.

Survivors include his wife: Nettie Lee Lee; a son: Shane Lee (Jessica) of Belton SC; a daughter: Misty Langston (Jeremy) of Honea Path SC; a brother: Jimmy Lee (Mary) of Hartwell; three sisters: Gail Powell of Anderson SC, Emily Saxon (Kenneth) of Hartwell and Marie Carver (Jerry) of Bowersville; four grandchildren: Joshua Lee, Bradley Newton, Rico Lee and Amber McLeese and two great-grandchildren: Colton McLeese and Baby Newton coming in September.

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. The family is at the home of Jerry and Marie Carver, 29 Carver Drive, Bowersville, GA.

Memorial services for Mr. Herman "Tireman" Lee will be held Friday, June 14, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Mr. Tommy Carver officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hart County Animal Rescue, PO Box 45, Hartwell GA 30643.
