Mrs. Hope Marie Porterfield Turner, 28, of Murfee Lane, Hartwell, passed away Friday, December 16, 2022 at Prisma Health-Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born on September 27, 1994 in Royston, GA, she was the daughter of Mary Whitworth Bailey and the late Michael Porterfield. Mrs. Turner was a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Brown Memorial Convalescent Center in Royston.

She is survived by her mother: Mary Whitworth Bailey of Lavonia; husband: Michael Turner of Hartwell; three sons: Michael Turner Jr, Cole Turner, and Ryan Turner; sister: Erica Padgett of Toccoa; grandparents: Carolyn Askea and "Bo" Porterfield; and nieces & nephew: Stevie Padgett, Kelton Griggs, and Hattie Griggs.

The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.  Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

It was Hope's wishes to be cremated and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Simmons officiating.

Flowers are optional, and memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children, Office of Development, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
