Obituary
Mr. Howard Lemuel Adams, Sr., 76, of 134 Perry Drive, Iva, SC, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Cobb Memorial Hospital.
Born on July 15, 1934 in Iva, SC, he was the son of the late Knox Adams and Ina Adams. He was a retired cotton mill worker in Anderson, SC and a US Army Veteran.
He is survived by one son: Howard Adams, Jr. and his wife, Annette, of Hartwell; three brothers: John Adams of Hartwell, David Adams of Iva, and Donny Adams of Iva; three sisters; two grandchildren: Chris Adams and Chad Adams; and one great grandchild: Zachary Adams. Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Sybil Adams.
A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. The family is at their respective homes.
