Mr. Hugh Allen Boles, 73, of Fleming Circle, Hartwell, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson.

Born on September 11, 1944 in Hartwell GA, he was the son of the Walter Lee Boles and Mamie Lettie Brown Boles.Mr. Boles was an avid Golfer, member of the Hartwell Golf Club and of the Church of God faith.He was also a veteran of the U. S. Army.

Hugh was a devoted husband to his wife, Linda Boles.He was a proud father to Mary Dove and Jimmy Miller and his wife Tammy.He was a wonderful grandfather to Holly McCord and her husband Maurice, Douglas Dove, Nathan Miller and his wife Katie and Jeremy Miller and his wife Amy, and great-grandfather to Noriya, La'Asia, Maurice Jr., Tionna, Ky'reece, Rylan and Makenzie.He is also survived by four brothers, Ray, Tony, Donald and Bill Boles.

A service to celebrate the home going of Hugh will be Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with military honors.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday night.The family will be at the home of Holly & Maurice McCord, 30 Hillcrest Drive, Hartwell.
