Hugh Marion Shaw, 90, of Camp Springs, MD, passed away on May 19, 2023, from congestive heart failure surrounded by family.

Born on December 30,1932, in Hartwell, GA, he was the son of the late Sam Shaw and Lola Mae Prather Shaw. He was a retired plumber and U.S. Army veteran.

Hugh was predeceased in death by his son, Alan Shaw; his parents, Sam and Lola Shaw of Hartwell, GA; and his siblings, Boyd, Edna, Arlene, Mary, Jim, Dean, and Bill.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Shaw; his two children, Lynn Ford (Ray) & Sandra Nichols (Greg); his three grandchildren, Tim Kidwell (Summer), Ryan Ford (Shannon), and Jeff Shaw; and his three great-grandchildren, Kylie Kidwell, Kourtney Kidwell and Penny Ford.

The family is planning a memorial for a future date.
