Aaron-Williams Hunter Hammond was born on 26 June 2021 at Saint Mary's Hospital in Lavonia, Georgia.All of those that knew and loved him called him "Hunter." He weighed 9 pounds 2 oz, and was 23 1/2 inches long.Hunter enjoyed his brief few weeks at home with his mother Tiffany, his Grandaddy Aaron, and his Grammy Starr.For those who lived with him and visited him, he was the light of our lives.He filled his home with love and peace and gave all of us a sense of purpose.His smile warmed the hearts of those around him.
Hunter passed away unexpectantly at home on the morning of 10 September 2021, He was 10 weeks old.Our hearts are broken.Our peace and consolation come with the knowledge that Hunter is waiting for us in his heavenly home and that we will see him and hold him again as we did here.He is with family who love him and family is forever.
Hunter is Survived by his mother, Tiffany-Amber Hammond of Lavonia, GA his grandfather, Aaron-Michael Kennedy of Lavonia, GA, his grandmother, Rachel Hammond of Falls Church, VA, and his great-grandmothers Dolores Miller of Lavonia, GA, Melinda Cook of Clarkesville, GA, and Cathy Anderson of Cocoa, FL.His grandfather William French and his uncle Aiden French of Falls Church, VA.His two great uncles Robert Hand of Suffolk, VA and Michael Kennedy Jr. of Saginaw, MI, his two great aunts Erica Mccullough of Cocoa, FL and Jessica Holt of Nelson, VA and his great- great grandmother Phyllis Rooks of Cocoa, FL.He is also survived by his Uncle "Hondo" of Lavonia, GA and his Grandmother Kristy "Gigi" Boyer of Homer, GA.He is predeceased by his great grand-fathers William Newell Cook of Clarkesville, GA and Michael Myles Kennedy Sr. of Mobile, AL.

Memorial Services will be held for Hunter at Strickland Funeral Home Friday September 17 @ 7 p.m.
