Obituary
Mr. Lewie Hutchins "Hutch" Brunson, 76, of Pennie Lane, Hartwell, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019 at his home.
Born on August 26, 1943 in Enterprise, AL, he was the son of the late Lewie Brunson and Lorraine Peoples Brunson.Mr. Brunson was a former brakeman for CSX Railroad and of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Brunson is survived by his wife: Loretta Jones Brunson; one daughter: Pam Briggs (Bill) of Suwanee, GA; two sisters: Elaine Sabin of Dunwoody, GA, Nina Stedman of Clarksville, MD; and two grandchildren: Bristol Briggs and Baker Briggs. Mr. Brunson is preceded in death by his parents; one son: Danny Brunson; and two brothers: Carson Brunson and Tommy Brunson.
Hutch wished to be cremated and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held at a later date to be announced.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 105 West Park Dr. Suite C, Athens, GA 30606.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
