Mrs. Ida Goodrich Harris, 86, of 450 Athens Street, Hartwell, GA, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at her home.

Born June 14, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Bachman and Ida Goodrich Bachman.She retired from Hart County Hospital after 30 years as a CNA.She was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.

Her survivors include:Sons, Freddie Harris of Lawrenceville, GA and Philip Harris of Hartwell, GA; Grandchild, Collett Harris.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Isom Harris and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery.Rev. Joe Black will officiate.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Friday night from 6 to 8:00 p.m.Memorials may be made to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 2973 Mt. Olivet Road, Hartwell, GA30643.
