Obituary
Mrs. Imogene Risner Herring, 77, of 6914 Reed Creek Hwy., Hartwell, died Sunday, August 19, at Hart County Hospital.
Born on November 13, 1929 in Hart County GA, she was the daughter of the late Willie T. Risner and Dessie Cobb Risner.She was retired from Five Star Food Service at Monroe Auto Equipment Co. and was a member of the Reed Creek Baptist Church.She attended Abundant Life Baptist Church and was a member of the Young at Heart.
Survivors include two sons: Tim Herring and his wife Lynn of Hartwell and Pat Herring, of Hartwell; a daughter: Kay Ginn and her husband John of Starr SC; seven grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 21 at 2:00 p.m. at the Reed Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Dulaney and Rev. Ken Brewer officiating.Burial will be in the Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Terry Blackwell officiating.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday night.The family is at the home, 6914 Reed Creek Hwy, Hartwell, GA.Memorials may be made to Reed Creek Baptist Church, 130 Boleman Hill Rd, Hartwell, GA30643 or to Abundant Life Baptist Church, PO Box 237, Hartwell, GA30643
