Mrs. Ina Sanford Locke, 71, of Old Logging Road, Hartwell died Monday January 20, 2014 at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens GA.

Born on May 26, 1942 in Ellijay GA, she was the daughter of the late Demorest Sanford and Oma Goble Sanford.Mrs. Locke was retired from The Hartwell Company, where she was a Seamstress and was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Ellijay GA.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Locke Jr; a daughter, Ann Anthony of Hartwell; four sons, Robert Amos & his wife Chris, Kenny Amos & his wife Marsha, Danny Amos & his fiancée Teresa Scaggs and "D D" Amos & his fiancée Becky Myers all of Hartwell; a step-daughter, Jaime Locke of Hartwell; twenty grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren also survive.Mrs. Locke was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Amos and three grandchildren, Trinity Amos, Chance Amos & Chase Amos.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Jimmy Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Garden of Prayer with Rev. Lee Smith officiating.

The body is at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening. The family is at the home.
