Miss Inez McLane, 89, of Fairview Ave, Hartwell, died Monday, May 19, 2014 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

Born on May 10, 1925, in Hartwell, she was the daughter of the late Columbus River McLane and Rosa Lee Isom McLane.She is retired from Hartwell Garment Company as a seamstress.She was a member of the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.

Survivors include: her brother: Larry McLane of Hartwell; two sisters: Louise Hudgens and Mary Ann Weaver of Hartwell.She was preceded in death by one brother: Ralph McLane and a special friend Max Adams.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Dr. Donald Little officiating.Burial will be in the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.The family are at their respective homes.Flowers are optional, special memorials may be made to the Mt.
