Mr. George Inman Eaton, 68, of Reed Creek School Road, Hartwell, died Thursday, June 18, 2015.

Born on January 31, 1947 in Royston, GA, he was the son of the late Haskel Snow Eaton and Sara Cleveland Eaton.Mr. Eaton was self-employed as a carpenter and was of the Baptist faith. He also was a Marine Corps veteran serving in the Vietnam War.

Survivors include one daughter: Mitzi Royston of Royston; three grandchildren: Logan Fleeman, Landon Fleeman and Aspen Royston; one brother: Alton Eaton of Hartwell. Mr. Eaton was preceded in death by his parents; one son: Jameson Eaton and one daughter: Cindy Eaton.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 22 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Johnny Stowe and Mr. Fred Greenway officiating.Burial will be in the Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The family is at the home of Mitzi Royston, 99 Dove Hill Road, Royston, GA 30662.
