Mr. James Larry Wood, 63, of Bowersville Hwy, Bowersville, died Saturday, February 14, 2015 at his home.

Born on June 22, 1951 in Royston GA, he was the son of Elizabeth Patterson Wood and the late Robert Lee Wood.Mr. Wood retired after 28 years of service from CFI as plant manager and was a Machine Operator for Fabritex in the Special Projects Division.Mr. Wood also was a member of the Bowersville Masonic Lodge, an avid Golfer and attended Oak Bower Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife: Kathy Eaves Wood; his mother: Elizabeth P. Wood of Bowersville; a son: Michael Wood & Brandy of Bowersville; a daughter: Jennifer Coile & Kevin of Hartwell; two brothers: Kenneth Wood & Renee of Lavonia and Darrell Wood & Kathy of Bowersville; a sister: Sheila Moncrief & Phillip of Bowersville and five grandchildren: Cade Carter, Katelyn Carter, Daniel Wood, Johnathan Wood and Jacob Coile.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. John Silver and Rev. Tommy Cleveland officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday night.The family is at the home.Flowers optional, memorials may be made to the Church of one's choice.
