Mr. Jack Marvin Adams, 73, of Hartwell, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023 at home with his family by his side.

Born on December 7, 1949 in Hartwell, GA, he was the son of the late Marvin Judson and Annie Bell Adams.  Mr. Adams retired from Tenneco as an inspector with 47 years of service, and he was of the Baptist faith. Jack also loved fishing and being with his family.

He is survived by his sister: Mary E. Bennett (Ted) of Anderson, SC; brother: William R. "Bill" Adams of Hartwell; nephews: Russ L. Bennett (Anna) and Brent J. Bennett (Heather); Great nephew: Judson Bennett; and five great nieces: Addison, Bella, Cora, Grace, and Ruth Bennett. He loved all of his family very much.

Mr. Adams is predeceased by his parents; grandparents: Arthur Adams, Mattie Williams, Wilburn Adams, and special grandmother Lois G. Adams; and his half-sister: Clara Adams.

The family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Mr. Jack Adams will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Brent Bennett officiating.  Burial will be in the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.

Flowers are optional, and memorials may be made to the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 4359 Anderson Hwy, Hartwell, GA 30643.
