Mr. Jack O'Neal Williford, Sr., 76, of Lavonia Highway, Hartwell, died Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at his home.
Born on March 9, 1939 in Lavonia, GA, he was the son of the late L.L. Williford and Kathryn Isabell Williford. Mr. Williford retired after 43 years of service as a machine operator for Monroe/Tenneco Automotive Equipment and was a member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife: Annette Mouchet Williford; two sons: Jack Williford, Jr. and Mary Jo of Hartwell and Eric Williford and Tamara of Hartwell; two daughters: Teresa W. Carter and Ricky of Hartwell and Amanda W. Partain and Aaron of Elberton; two sisters: Sue Allen and Ben of Hartwell and Helen White of Lavonia; eleven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. Mr. Williford was preceded in death by one grandchild: Katie Williford; one brother: Sam Williford; and two sisters: Kathy Hamby and Wilma Yeargin.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Cross Roads Baptist Church with Rev. Sean Payne and Mr. Fred Greenway officiating.Burial will be in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday evening. The family is the home. Flowers optional, memorials may be made to the Cross Roads Baptist Church Family Life Center, 3636 Lavonia Hwy., Hartwell, GA 30643.
