Mrs. Jackie Bartlett Seagraves, 77, of 1138 Peachtree Road, Elberton, died Thursday, December 22, 2011 at her home.
Born on May 3, 1934 in Tallassee, AL, she was the daughter of the late John E. Howard and Pearl Summerlin Howard.Mrs. Seagraves was a homemaker and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter: Sheri Gordon and her husband, Mike, of Elberton; one brother: Mike Howard of Farmington, MO; three grandchildren: Dylan Gordon, Aidan Gordon, and Logan Gordon.She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Bill Bartlett; and second husband, Ed Seagraves.
Graveside services will be held Monday, December 26, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Terry Meeks officiating.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends from 1:00-2:30 p.m. Monday.The family is at the home of Mike and Sheri Gordon, 1138 Peachtree Road, Elberton, GA.Floral arrangements are optional and special memorials may be made out to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN38105.
