Jacqueline Faye "Jackie" Smith, age 51, of Canon, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021 at her home.

Born April 30, 1970 in Iroquois County, Illinois, she was a graduate of Hart County High School, Class of 1989. She knew the value of hard work and cared about doing her best in whatever she did. She was a loving and loyal person. She enjoyed riding adventures with her companion, found satisfaction in working, and loved animals. She especially enjoyed playing cards and board games with her daughter. Jackie was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law: Christine & Nick Ray; brother & sister-in-law: Scott & Mary Smith; companion: Jerry Ivester; niece: Ashlynn Smith; nephews: Christian Smith and Joshua Smith; and cat: Sissy. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Robert Leroy Smith and Faye Scott Smith.

Jackie will be cremated, in accordance with her request, following a private family service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made, in Jackie's memory, to the North East Georgia Animal Shelter, 870 Bear Creek Road, Lavonia, GA 30553.
