Jacob Everett "Jake" Titus, age 19, of Lavonia, Georgia, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019, in Martin.
Born September 11, 1999, in Athens, Georgia, he was the son of Everett Titus and Kimberly Carey. He attended Person High School and Roxboro Christian Academy in Roxboro, North Carolina. Jake was employed with Load Star in Lavonia.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother: Jennifer Williams; and maternal great-grandparents: Pope & Sue Williams.
Jake is survived by his mother: Kimberly Carey (Shannon); father: Everett Titus (Karsen); maternal grandfather: Gary Williams (Carol); paternal grandparents: Theo Titus & Shirley Titus; sister: Ashleigh Fryczynski (Fletcher); step-sister: Peyton Price; uncles and aunts: Brad Williams (Tabitha); Tamara Titus (Lane); and Russell Titus (Courtney); and cousins: Trista & Ciara Williams and Lilly & Logan Titus.
The family will hold a private memorial service 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2019, at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Dr. Larry Finger officiating. Jake was cremated in accordance with his request.
