Obituary
Mr. James Joseph "Jim" Condict, 78, of Ridgewood Drive, Hartwell, died Saturday, June 25 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson.
Born on February 21, 1933 in Pocahontas AR, he was the son of the late James L. Condict and Lilly Hogan Condict.He retired from International Harvester Truck Division with 26 years of service, where he was a Branch Manager.He was a member of the Hartwell First United Methodist Church and a U S Navy Korean War veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanine Taylor Condict of the home; two sons, Keith A. Condict of Athens GA and James M. Condict of Louisville KY; a step-son, Wayne Webb of Memphis TN and eight grandchildren also survive.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Dr. R. Allen Stewart officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hartwell First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 200 E. Howell St, Hartwell, GA 30643.
