Mr. James Haskell Haney, 74, of Pulliam Mill Road, Dewy Rose, passed away Friday, August 4, 2017 at his home.

Born on September 13, 1942 in Hartwell GA, he was the son of the late Eddie B. Eskew and Lizzie Mae Eaton Eskew.Mr. Haney was a former truck driver and owner/operator of Net Granite Company.He was also a member of the Faith Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife: Annette Rowland Haney, a son: Chris Haney of Dewy Rose; a daughter: Tracie Smith and her husband Walt of Dewy Rose; a brother: Doug Haney of Hartwell; two sisters: Joyce Pulley and Barbara Pulley both of Gray Court SC; four grandchildren: Christy Amos, Justin Haney, Keri Smith and Amber Haney; five great-grandchildren: Hannah Meyers, Devon Meyers, Christopher Amos, Joshua Amos and Riley Haney also survives.Mr. Haney was preceded in death by his parents; a great-granddaughter: Maliha Lynn Haney; a brother: William Haney and two sisters: Ruby Looney and Joann Brown.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Pierce officiating.Burial will be in the Faith Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the Faith Baptist Church, Bowman GA.The family is at the home.
