Mr. James William Harris, age 67, of 377 Norman Road, Hartwell, GA, died Wednesday, September 9, 2009 in Augusta, GA.
Born October 4, 1941 in Hart County, GA, he was the son of the late Henry R. Harris and Elizabeth Towel Harris.He was a retired Truck Driver.
He is survived by:Daughter, Janet Dutton of Elberton, GA; Sisters, Virginia Billings of Starr, SC, Henrietta O'Dell of Hartwell, GA and Mary Clark of Hartwell, GA; Three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.He is preceded in death by Parents; Son, William Harris; Daughter, Wendy Harris; Brothers, Charles William Harris and Henry Carlton Harris and Sisters, Minnie Lee and Betty Hulsey.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel.The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 3 – 4:00 p.m. prior to the service.The family is at their respective homes.
