Mr. James Jackson "Jamie" Haygood, 35, of 1950 Carla Drive, Cumming, GA, died Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at his home.
Born on July 7, 1976 in Hartwell, he was the son of the late Robert C. Haygood and Grace Hicks Haygood.
Survivors include his caregiver: Gladys James.Mr. Haygood was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Robert C. Haygood, Jr.; fraternal grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Russell Haygood; and maternal grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. L.B. Hicks.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 7, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. J.B. Kitts officiating.Burial will follow in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service.The family is at their respective homes.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Miracle League of Forsyth County, they provide physically and mentally challenged children a safe program to play baseball, P.O.
