Mr. James E. "Jim" Kiser, Jr., 77, of 8157 Mt. Olivet Rd, Hartwell, GA, died Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Hart Co. Hospital.
Born on November 19, 1932 in Fulton Co. GA, he was the son of the late James E. Kiser, Sr. and Emily Hammock Kiser Rawls.He was a US Navy veteran serving during the Korean War and also a retired Barber and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Betty B. Kiser of Hartwell, GA; a daughter, Diane McCullough and her husband Mack of Hartwell, GA and two grandchildren, Bryan Gagnon and Corey Gagnon.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 25, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Ben Coleman officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Monday afternoon. The family is at home.
