James Powell "Jim" Stevens, age 82, of Lavonia, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022 at his home.

Born August 12, 1940, in Stone Mountain, he was the son of the late Johnny and Frances Stevens. He was an entrepreneur, with a special talent for home repair. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Janice Thomas Stevens; and brother: Bobby Stevens.

He is survived by his children: Thurston & Pam Milligan; Dennis Milligan, and Denice & Ron Stoehr; grandchildren: Randal Milligan, Josh Milligan, Heather Milligan, Katie Milligan, Janice Milligan, Jacob Stoehr, Jared Stoehr, and Jason Stoehr; and great-grandchildren: Autumn Austin, Hazel Harker, Haydon Kinley, Ryanne Hankins, Riley Milligan, Lacie Milligan, and Aiden Milligan.

The graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2022 at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens, 699 American Legion Rd NE, Conyers, GA 30012.
