Mrs. Jan Temple Bond, 86, of Elberton, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Brookdale of Hartwell.

Born on February 21, 1939 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late Jim Dodd Temple and Gladys Floyd Temple. Jan was a member of the Elberton First Methodist Church, and worked as the administrative secretary for 26 years.

Survivors include her daughters: Lisa Wyllie of Clemmons, NC, and Mary Catherine Bond of Elberton; one sister: Carol T. Barber of Hartwell; and three grandchildren: Bill Bond, Anna Katherine Wyllie, and Elliot Wyllie. Jan is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Maurice William Bond; son: Matt Bond; and one sister: Shirley T. Hodges.

It was Jan's wishes to be cremated and no formal services are planned at this time.
