Mrs. Janelle Hayes Cleveland, 77, of 874 N. Forest Avenue, Hartwell, GA, died Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at her home.

Born August 1, 1930 in Hart County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Bennie Carl Hayes and Annie M. Lewis Hayes.She was retired from Wal-Mart as an Associate for 17yrs.She was a lifelong member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, where she served as Sunday School Teacher and Church Clerk.

She is survived by:Husband, Harold L. Cleveland of the home; Sons, Tim Cleveland, Chris Cleveland, and Eric Cleveland all of Hartwell, GA; Daughters, Debbie Higginbotham and her husband David of Hartwell, GA and Karen Cleveland of Hartwell, GA; Sisters, Maggie Moorhead of Hartwell, GA, Betty Crump of Anderson, SC, Carlene Milford of Hartwell, GA, Yvonne Edwards of Hull, GA and Helen McMullan of Hartwell, GA; Five grandchildren, Jonathan Higginbotham, Angela Higginbotham, Morgan Yeagley, Bo Buffington and Cody Buffington; and one great grandchild, Cana Donald.She is preceded in death by Parents; and grandchild, Tyler Yeagley.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.Dr. Donald Little and Rev. Keith McKenzie will officiate.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.The body will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Thursday night from 7 – 9:00 p.m. The family is at the home.
