Janene Hamlin, 69, of Lavonia, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, following a courageous four-year battle with stage IV breast cancer. She passed peacefully, surrounded by love, with her daughter holding her hand.

Her family finds comfort in knowing that Janene has been welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus, where she is whole, at peace, and free from pain.
