Mrs. Janette Craft Payne, 86, of Kennesaw, passed away Friday, April 26, 2019 at her home.

Born on March 16, 1933 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Albert Craft and Millie Cantrell Craft.Mrs. Payne was a retired office receptionist for Sears and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband: Carey Payne, Jr. and her sister: Betty Joann Craft both of Kennesaw, GA. Mrs. Payne was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter: Sharon K. Payne; and three brothers: Burnice Craft, Gene Craft, and Jack Craft

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Ken Brewer officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Monday afternoon.
